Notodden Blues Cruise every thursday in July

The well-known Blues Cruise has long been popular favorite with visitors to the Notodden Blues Festival.  Now the festival is happy to announce that there will be a Blues Cruise each Thursday in July.

Each Thursday at 8:00 pm in July, the Blues Cruise begins as the MS Telemark embarks from the dock at the Bok & Blueshuset in Notodden, ready to take you on several hours of swinging Blues music presented by the best musicians Bluestown has to offer.

´This is something that we have talked about for many years – and now it is finally happening!´, says Jostein Forsberg, head of the Notodden Blues Festival.

Forsberg says that it will be exciting to combine the beautiful July summer nights in Telemark together with Bluestown music. The MS Telemarken is the well-known ship that has carried visitors up and down the Telemark Canal since 1988, a traditional festival favorite on Heddal Lake.

This also opens up the Blues Cruise for national and international tourists in Telemark to the cultural experience of the Blues – a perfect combination that is not to be missed!

The July program is as follows:

Thursday July 5: Trond Ytterbø og Morten Omlid

Thursday July 12: Reloaded Norway

Thursday July 19: Jostein Forsberg, Morten Omlid & Øystein Ytterbø

Thursday July 26: Øystein Ytterbø, Fredrick Kaasa & Adrian Baann Sørensen

Tickets are now available at the Bok & Blueshuset in Notodden, or online at www.bokogblueshuset.no.
